How to Measure Your Watch Strap – DN HANDMADE Guide

🧭 Measuring the Lug Width (Strap Width):

This is the distance between the two lugs of your watch case, where the strap attaches.
Use a ruler or caliper to measure the inside width between the lugs, in millimeters.
➡️ For example: If it measures 20mm, you’ll need a 20mm strap for a perfect fit.

📏 Measuring the Strap Length:

A watch strap consists of two parts:

• Buckle side: Measure from the tip of the strap to the end of the buckle.

• Hole side: Measure from the tip of the strap to the last hole.

👉 The total strap length will affect how the watch fits on your wrist. You can measure your old strap or wrap a tape around your wrist, then add 10–20mm depending on how snug or loose you prefer the fit.
